Green Campus

The 40th anniversary of Martha Tilaar Group is marked with the opportunity to share the four pillars of values by Martha Tilaar Group: Beauty Green, Beauty Culture, Beauty Education, and Empowering Woman. There are three campus chosen by Martha Tilaar Group to support the Beauty Green Program: Institut Teknologi Bandung (or Bandung Institute of Technology), Universitas Indonesia, and Universitas Airlangga Surabaya.

The first project was given to ITB. Since March 2010 the team of KADO Martha Tilaar has been conducting surveys and planting the 800m-wide campus park in the area of ITB's Pharmacy School with a variety of OKA (Medicine, Cosmetic, and Aromatherapy) plants, which includes frangipani, ylang-ylang, eucalyptus, kepel, gotu kola, jasmine, paniculata, god leaves, lavender, cincau, sweet saga, mangkokan, etc.

"The natural heritage of our ancestors has always been preserved and I have high hopes that the young people of today, especially college students, cares more about this Back to Nature movement," says Dr. Martha Tilaar.

"Because it has been scientifically proven that our natural wealth is one of the ways to prevent all sorts of health problems."

Peresmian Taman Kampus

Acara peresmian taman kampus ITB ini dihadiri langsung oleh DR Martha Tilaar dan Rektor ITB Prof. Akhmaloka, PHD pada hari Sabtu 5 Juni 2010. Prosesi ini sekaligus juga ditandai dengan penanaman 4 pohon kemuning (murraya paniculata) oleh Rektor ITB, Dekan Farmasi, Ketua MWA dan Dr Martha Tilaar.

Setelah ini, proyek berikutnya adalah taman kampus Universitas Indonesia yang rencananya akan diresmikan bulan Agustus dan Universitas Airlangga di akhir tahun 2010.
